Photo gallery script like myspace?
 

I want a script that will allow users to upload pics to my server and then display them like myspace does.

What comes close?

I've personally been looking around for a software that would work as a community portfolio type software. I haven't found anything that works quite the way I want it because I also want it to be able to be integrated with VB forum software.

If you just need something simple do some searches for flickr clone scripts, there were a few of those but nothing I personally liked. I'll likely end up having to go custom and I hate that because I just don't trust programmers because 90% of them flake off and never finish a project.

I don't need things like registration - I just want one person to be able to upload pics that get displayed in galleries in the neat orderly fashion like a myspace or facebook gallery. The ability to add descriptions would be cool too.

dont know of any that do this, but a custom solution would better fit your needs

Check out coppermine gallery. You can bridge the DB's to use one login across VB and the photo gallery. http://coppermine-gallery.net/

http://www.primanudes.com runs on an older version of coppermine - with some custom modifications.

I'm looking for a replacement as this one is pretty old.. I may not use coppermine as the mods were pretty intensive and required core code changes..

Coppermine makes the surfer take too many steps to get to the individual pictures and clutters up the page too much with their interface.

I'm looking for simple... like with myspace.

On one page you have a thumbnail for each gallery, next page you have thumbnails for individual pics, and then you can click the picture to move to the next one. Very simple and easy to understand.

Wouldn't that be nice? You'd think there would be a ton of scripts like that which would integrate with VB.
