My Atlanta Forum thoughts
First, I would like to say THANK YOU to all who attended The Atlanta Forum. I would ESPECIALLY like to thank the great sponsors that did so much to make this show the success it was. We could not have done it without them so make sure you let them know that you appreciate what they did.
Tony and I had been talking about doing this show for a couple of years now. When Tony came to me and said "let's do it this year", my response was "sounds like a great idea...you have fun with it". My plate is very full running NationalNet and I really didn't have time to deal with this, so I was not the least involved with the planning of TAF. Because of that, I pretty much had the viewpoint of an attendee. As an "attendee", I thought it was a great show. All the people that were there were decision makers and that made for a great show for doing business. The hotel was perfect (except for the lack of coffee makers in the room :-) and the staff was great. I liked the parties and events and the seminars were amazingly well done. It was nice to have something different for a change as opposed to the same old seminars we are all used to. For those that did not attend the seminars, make it a point to next year... It was also one of the most fun shows I ever attended. Whether it was daytime at the pool or the bar or at a dinner, I was surrounded by friends and we were always having a great time. Again, thanks to all the sponsors and also thanks for those that hung with me and made it a great time for me. I won't mention any names, but you all know who you are. Next year, I'll bring the live chicken (inside joke :-) -- Bill |
Nice to see you out and about.. it's been a while. :>))

Glad you had fun

Best show we have ever been to, Great hanging out with you Bill

Hi Bill,
It was nice that Tony let you take time out of your busy schedule to attend the show. I have to agree that everyone I saw and talked with seemed to be having a great time. First show aside this was one of the most productive shows I have attended in my three short years in the industry. From the initial greeting at the front door of the W Hotel to the last drop of Pineapple Upsidedown Cake shooters on the patio I enjoyed every minute of it. This will definitely be on my Must Attend list for next year. Great talking to ya! Jim _ |
I have to admit, you had me somewhat nervous the first day when I arrived telling me there might be a problem with the p2p servers. Although once I checked and everything was good, I had a great weekend. Thanks for everything :)

I also have to add. That I have been to many dinners, some for business, friendship dinners, family dinners etc ..... The dinner we had at Mckendrick's has to go down as probably one of the top 5 dinners in my life. It seemed we had it all. Give me quality over quantity any day :thumbsup:thumbsup |

I had an excellent time and did great business in Atlanta. I thought everything was very well thought out..... I really enjoyed the special guest speaker, he was funny with an excellent life view. The closing party was excellent too, I don't recall the last time I danced so much. All in all, what better place to chill out and do some business than at the W in Atlanta when the weather is perfect this time of year.
Cheers, Brad |

If there was one recurring theme at this show it was exactly what you said...very productive. Everyone I talked to raved about how much business they did at this show...and after all, isn't that what the shows are really about -- Bill |

I'll let you know when I enjoy that Davidoff if it is the one I had before...thanks much for that! -- Bill |

I'm glad you made it. Sounds like I missed out though...I didn't get to hear you sing. I used to be the lead singer in a rock band years ago and was going to sing with the band but just wasn't feeling it that night. I do still do some home recording with me and my guitar. http://lbbv.com/mp3/index2.html has a few songs I've done if you're interested. -- Bill |
it was great to see everyone as well as spend some time with all the national net folks, even Kevin!!! GO ASU!! ROFL....
