13 people killed at soccer riot. Set off by accusations of witchcraft. WTF!
 

Rioting over a soccer game is dumb enough, but add witchcraft accusations and it's just unreal.

"KINSHASA, Congo (AP) - Accusations that a soccer player was using witchcraft during a match in eastern Congo sparked a riot that killed 13 people, a U.N.-funded radio station reported Monday."

How is it possible that in one place on Earth they've created a super collider capable of recreating the very beginning of the universe, yet in another part of the world people are fighting over accusations of witchcraft?

Some people will believe anything if it's pushed on them.

The leader of the United States and most of it's population speak to, obey, and put their blind faith in the hands of an invisible man in the sky. Millions of people have been killed around the world and continue to be killed in his name. They also believe an evil little angel is out to trick them into spending all of eternity in a burning pit once they die. This isn't a few whack jobs, it's 80% of the US population. Believing in witchcraft seems pretty tame in comparison.

I live in a country where hundreds (if not thousands) of people travel hundreds of miles to see Jesus on a piece of toast.

Hmmm... if penis snatchings are a real problem.. well that pretty much trumps everything...
