For an average American.. what exactly did he accomplish to help the average Joe?

He put some funding back into NASA one of the things I don't like about Obama is he plans to cut funding to NASA.

You hater. Don't you see US is even safer than it was before 9/11? Don't you see this by security arrangements on public places, airports etc.
