I have a question about skype....
 

I been using trillian for ever. but my friend tells me that skype if good and that i can make calls to cell phones from it. is this true? how much does it cost?

Different rates for different countries. If your are calling someone's skype account on a phone with a data plan it's free I think. They just have to have an app running skype.

i have my 800 number through them.

cheap per minute rates OR monthly/yearly rates for unlimited calling.

For a year I had them setup as a home phone line but they upped the yearly rates and I didn't feel like renewing. I'm still looking for something else that works like them and can be installed on cell phones like skype. Unlimited internet was used on my wifes mogul to bypass the low 500 minute plan we have with SERO.

It's annoying as fuck, because then drunk/stoned idiots want to literally talk to you, all of the time.

love skype make 90% of my calls on skype can even make free skype calls from cell using my unlimited data plan so no phone minutes

on a serious note, man, is 21st century now and skype is out for years, its fucking the best!

I use it fairly regularly .. have my LA number with it and it is very cheap $3 per month and yes I can call anywhere in the US or Canada unlimited .. you can even use it on your sony PSP so anywhere there is wireless internet you can use it as a phone .. an with so many cities going total wifi it could actually replace your cell phone .. I think it is a great program

Skype is great, I'm even can use it for free on my SE P1I phone.

Skype sucks,i use voipbuster for out calls and gizmo for in calls.

The only thing I do not like about Skype is when I forward it to my cell phone it has a huge delay and the call is almost undoable. Otherwise I use it pretty much all the time.
