Actually 99% of new movies suck...in the past few years there is only a handfull of movies I enjoyed...on top of my head I can only remember Memento which was a low budget movie and Crushing Tiger Hidden Dragon which was a foreign movie...

Word on the street is that his new movie "Punchdrunk Love" directed by Boogie Nights and Magnolia director Paul Thomas Anderson is Sandler's best movie to date. Not only his best movie but a very GOOD movie.

I admit Adam Sandler movies appeal to my dopier side...Billy Madison is pure genius and still one of those movies I can watch over and over and still crack up....

I'm one of those movie fans that can enjoy a mindfuck movie like Memento and still laugh at Billy Madison and Dumb And Dumber while totally pussing out and crying in Requeim For A Dream...

I'd much rather spend my money on Jim Carrey movies than crap-o-rama shitpiles like Titanic, Steel Magnolias (ok, I like watching that movie just to see Julia Roberts die) and Runaway Bride.....my wife watches those movies and I think it's a sign of mental illness.......so, I try and point her to cinematic masterpieces like Dumb and Dumber, Memento, GlenGarry Glen Ross, Requiem For A Dream, Kung Pow: Enter The Fist, The Deer Hunter and Billy Madison.........

It's an American classic. I've watched it so many times that I use at least one line per day in day-to-day life. I have the VHS, DVD, and even the action figures. Harry and Lloyd are two of my heroes, along with happy and Tommy Boy.:thumbsup

I like those mindless movies where I don't have to sit and think. Every so often I want to watch a movie that appeals to my more primitive and base side. You don't have to concentrate or be a Rhodes scholar to know that any joke that has the following words in it is funny: poop, ass, dick, cock, fag.

Some of the best lines I've heard have come from Adam Sandler and Kevin Smith films. Buy the soundtrack to Jay and Silent Bob Strikes Back and put Jay's Rant on loop... hilarious shit
