Iraq to cost U.S. $3 Trillion - Can YOU spend the $ better? (Shopping Spree Inside!)
Go on a virtual $3 Trillion shopping spree here to see if you can put the money to better use! :thumbsup

Here is a fucking idea. DO NOT SPEND THE FUCKING MONEY. The USA DOES NOT HAVE THE MONEY. The money is mostly borrowed or printed. Causing debt and inflation that we will be paying off of years to come.

Oh my god, everyone should click that link - makes ya think.

The numbers there are kinda made up, but yea 3 Trillion is a shitload of money, could have been invested in a better way...

it does not really matter as the FED can print money as they please ;)
not to sure if that kind of behaviour is good for an economy though! |
I'd spend the money on welfare. Because we all need more crackheads!

I'm no fan of this war, but $3 trillion?
It seems like every month that number goes up. Last month it was 2 trillion and before that it was 1 trillion. Not to mention, that IS NOT what we've spent (or are even projected to spend) on the war. That figure assumes that the rise in oil prices is solely due to the Iraq war and includes the total cost to our economy, including the price of oil. So it's not like that number is anywhere near realistic. It's just left wing propaganda. (and hell, I'm a left winger) |
The actual amount of money that has been spent on the war is here.
http://costofwar.com/ Currently around $511 billion....which is definitely not chump change, but it's only 17% of the number this thread title claims the war has cost. 17% That's quite an exagerration, even for a political argument. So before you go on that shopping spree, you need to cut your budget by 83%, mmmmkay? |
I can spend it better. Free 40 million people instead of only 30 million people.
|
I'd rather have the Millennium Falcon and keep the change
|
Funny site. I would invest most part in helping people in poor countries (food, medical supplies, education). And keep a couple of millions to myself to invest them and share with my family and friends. :winkwink:
