Anyone know a domain registrar like this?
 

I need a domain registrar in another country that will not disclose my personal info to anyone. This is not for an illegal site, but for a political site locally here. It seems there are some underworld types in local politics here, who would like to find out who I am. Are there any registrars like this?

Plenty of them offer domain privacy, but I've heard vague stories about some of them quite freely releasing this information, even if it was just someone making a complaint about spam.

Don't forget your host will also (presumably?) have that information.

I hosted the site In Russia, but the registrar is Directnic(with bogus info, except for a legitimate email address) . Directnic is to easy to get the info from.(one of these crooks is in law enforcement) I would prefer somewhere else.

If you are worried about something then you have to use fake info all the way including payment method and IP address.

Anyone who really wants to find your info can do so with some work and or money.

Think about this:
If you paid with money orders someone could still trace those to the exact store you bought them from and ask the clerk if they remember you....etc...
