Nice offer. I just have one question (and won't elaborate further on it) - I understand your boxes are housed in the US. Would you require everyone who hosts on your servers to provide 2257 documents? The reason I'm asking is simple - compliance with 2257 = breach of Canadian privacy laws

Historically, no. I guess the other update to this subject would be that in Michigan where our corporation is based 2257 has been determined unconstitutional at the district court that speaks for our region. If you have licensed, legal content and nothing underage then you have nothing to worry about. Otherwise, as your host it would not take long for us to find out otherwise and that would certainly lead to service cancellation if there was any prohibited material on your servers.

no illegal content ever. I value my business and would never get involved in it. I'm phasing out of adult and into mainstream anyway, but I have my personal photography site with models I took pictures of, but my terms of service clearly state that this is a Canadian owned website and follows Canadian laws regarding privacy - hence I do not have any 2257 statement on a site. No underage models or anything that's illegal in Canada whatsoever on any of my sites.

One more question, cause I'm not as familiar with terminology. How much bandwidth roughly does 8Mbit translate into?

Based on typical utilization in the adult marketplace 1 megabit on 95th percentile translates to anywhere from 225 gigs per month to 300 gigs per month. A safe estimate is right in the middle, 250 gigs per megabit. So, for the average client this would translate to 1800-2400 gigs but most likely a figure around 2000 gigs.

With overage priced on the per megabit at a great competitive rate instead of per gigabyte this represents a substantial savings when your business grows, expecially when compared to hosts that bill overage differently.

hooooly shit. That's a lot of BW. Great offer for sure with this type of HW and this much BW. I'm unsure myself though, cause my traffic is definitely not quite there yet, so a server like that would be an overkill. I'm upgrading in near future for sure, just don't know where and when yet. This is a great deal for anyone who has more demanding sites :)
