Just because they say they are competing doesn't mean they will be directly... sure there is competition between all mobile phones
but the iPhone and the Razr2 aren't similar at all. I doubt there will be many people who are hung between a Razr2 and an iPhone.
furthermore, I don't think there's anything particularly innovative or special about the new razr - they may benefit from old razr users who like the style and want to upgrade.
