I don't see how that is a shock. After all, look at the number of women that drool over people like Orlando Bloom and and 'boyish men' like that. When I was younger I was more attracted to men that had fairly feminine eyes, etc.

For example in the 20th-21st centuries men started to look after their bodies, working our in the gyms, tracking their meals. A lot of men are doing these things now. Why not add the other things to our armory? Why not taking care of skin, haircut, nails? Not too much of course, but they can be neat and good looking.

And one more example - in medieval times men took bath once a month. Shall we do the same thing nowadays? I doubt... :upsidedow

The "norm" for human cultures is for the male to have as many wives as he can support. Its a natural fact! Look at any living organism. The males mate with as many females as possible to reproduce. It is only the strong influence of christianity that prohibits this. Left to nature a man should have as many "wives" as he is able to "support for" and "fight for".

I'm from Chicago but live in Scottsdale now. In Chicago, "good looking" macho guys get the most attention from women. In Scottsdale, "good looking" metro and bi-sexual wimpy guys get the most attention from women. Quite a contrast.
