Whatever... don't take the Walrus too seriously.

However, in a more benign way, I agree with him.

"Dog" Chapman is not a hero, and he certainly didn't do anything good in this process. He seems to think that the laws don't apply to him, and like many arrogant people, thinks that the laws of his home country apply all over the world.

Wrong.

He could have simply kept an eye on this criminal and contacted the Mexcan authorities, and let them handle the situation. He didn't. He was blinded by hate and by the money he had lost on the bond, and was going to get this guy, even if he had to break the laws of another country to do it.

Mr Chapman broke the laws, and he should suffer the consequences that come with breaking those laws. He isn't above the law.

If he wants to be the moral high ground, he perhaps should live by the ideals that he preaches. Otherwise he is just another Jim Bakker with a can of pepper spray and a 70's era overdone mullet.

why would he even bond out a scum bag like this.

fuck innocent until proven guilty.

EBORG9 06-17-2007 03:25 PM

On a serious note, this isn't just Dog the Bounty hunter, this kind of thing happens to bounty hunters all the time.'

We had a case here in Vegas during the Holidays last year, where to Bail Enforcement Agents went down to Central America to get a Child Molester, that abused a local kid, and the same thing happened to them.

I agree they are not above the local laws, but fugitives committing crimes in the U.S. and then fleeing south of the border is bullshit, and that is the message that we should be sending whether you like "Dog" or not.

IF you fuck with people here, someone will come and get you, dead or alive.

thats the best part of the "oh my god... he's a victim for doing the right thing" argument. he helped this guy get out of jail at his own financial risk and going to Mexico had ZERO to do with justice and doing the right thing... if it did, there are plenty of channels to handle it.

DVTimes 06-17-2007 03:30 PM

Sorry, but he is not the law.

Only a jury of good people should convict and a judge to make sentance.

No one should be outside the law or treat differently, be it a rapist, murderer, or webmaster. The law should be the sdame for all.

When it is not, then the law no longer exsists.

Dirty F 06-17-2007 03:33 PM

That dumb piece of shit redneck is not the law and i see no reason why he should get charged for his actions.

k0nr4d 06-17-2007 03:49 PM

that is the worst fucking show ever made.

Incorrect, IMHO. You don't have the right to kill someone because they happen to escape from prison and walk past your house. Dog doesn't have any more right to go to Mexico a "arrest" this guy. He spotted him, he knew he was there, he just needed to get the authorities involved - he didn't.

He committed a crime (pretty much amounts to attempted kidnapping), and he needs to understand and accept that. There is no "but he is a bad guy" law in Mexico (or america for that matter).

He could have done it the right way, he did it the wrong way, and he needs to accept it. I have a feeling that if he had accepted it from the outset, they likely would have slapped him with a fine or short jail time and let it go at that.

come on....help the dog out
