Is installing wordpress on a windows server ALWAYS such a huge pain in the ass?
God damn it's making life miserable for me right now. Is installing wordpress on a windows server ALWAYS such a pain in the ass or what? I have NEVER had such a go around just trying to get wordpress to function properly...
Themes won't stick. I can view the page ONCE with the new theme, if i hit refresh, we're right back to Kubrick. The permalink structure looks real crazy like, i'm pretty sure thats whats fucking up a good portion of my plugins right now. This is driving me crazy, does anyone have any experience installing wordpress on a windows server? I'm going to lose it. |
That's one of many reasons why 99% of webmasters on here choose unix based servers :thumbsup

i wish somebody would tell my client that...

Windows servers suck ass.

I can install wp and a new theme on windows servers in minutes. You probably have your security settings set wrong or something.

Yup, sounds more like a security issue than a general windows problem, but I have no idea what exactly...I wouldn't ever get close to a windows based server, way too many headaches.
