Who eats meat on good friday ??

I dont and it is not that i am catholic its just something that i have done since i was a child.

I have no particular days I do not eat meat. Typically I will eat meat every day of the year unless I really am on a salad fix.

Now does this anti meat rule apply to all meat, just no cooking of it that day, what about poultry or fish, meat stock?

I just ate some chicken and I will will be eating a steak tonight just for Jesus. :thumbsup

according to the Catholic "rules" fish is okay

Im the same way. I was born Catholic but thats about as far as it goes. I don't eat meat on Good Friday either

I'm a carniverous athiest. I eat meat when i fuckin feel like it. Tomorrow i'm going to ride my ATV in the desert and cook burgers on the grill.

Well, I eat meat, have beer and pop a cherry when I feel like it. Though, I cannot say I'm an atheist. I believe in God my way :)

I'll eat whatever is in my fridge. At the moment, I believe all it contains is half a pack of sliced ham, some wild cherry pepsi, 1 plum, milk, and 1 pack of old tortillas.

What is the reason for not eating meat?

I remember as a kid always giving up something for Lent (like chocolate), to reflect Jesus's fasting in the desert. Why can you not eat meat on the day he was killed though?

Also you find very different traditions in different countries, so it is not always a matter of Catholicism.

I eat whatever I want, meat included, on any day I want. I just don't care what people say you must and must not do on certain days. Unless it's work related than fuck it all.
