if I say that out of context it means I'm thinking about it and I really don't want to do it (in that exact moment) but only for social things (don't want to seem like a slut) saying it out loud it's just for me to know I'm serious.
But the real thing is: I'm thinking about it because I find my partner atractive, if not, it never comes out because I don't even think of sex when I don't like my date.

I had this exact situation happen a while back. I asked her out and on our first date an hour or so into it she tells me she never has sex on the first date. I just shrugged told her I never thought she would. We had a great date and ended up in bed and she told me later that she told me that because she wanted to see how I would treat her even knowing I had no chance at getting laid.
