Ok, I really dont understand this WTF is Runescape?

I can understand people being addictive to MMORPG Games..but..WTF Runescape seems to be the southpark of Video games...

Maybe I should try and get my little brother off Runescape and pickup a copy of WoW for him??

Suggestions..Is WoW worth it -=x

Sure if you do not desire to see your little brother again until he is 27, still a virgin, and has arthritis in his wrists.

If you can't get him off video games and can't get him to play one of the most gay sports on this planet... soccer ... then just let him play video games.

:)

Really, get him off the computer. In my own opinion ( IMOO ), it's fine to play on a computer, but to spend too much time playing games, rather than learning something, is a complete waste. Help lead the kid to the world of dating and hanging out around actual people.

Yeah, I agree. But he does this at night time after his homework is done and after wrestling practice..

Don't you be worried about WOW, when you start playing , it will be just you and that game ...

Is he working the WOW system or is he just playing?

Seriously - is he "learning" or "playing" ?

WoW is a good starter game for something more current. It's good because the system is easy to learn, the quests are a bit involving and the community can be really friendly. It's bad because when he moves to a "real" game people are going to make fun of him...lol It really just depends on what he's into though.

There are a ton of games out there for just about everyone. mmorpg.com has a pretty good list of all the current games and a lot of ones coming out along with reviews and what not.

There are a couple of p2p games out there that are currently free also such as Anarchy Online and Planetside if he's into sci-fi stuff. But if's he's on Runescape, WoW is probably more to his tastes but you never know.

And yes I'm a gaming nerd... currently playing Rf Online. MMO game count is up to 13 or so now over the last 10 years.
