I said haters fuck off. If you don't like IE then don't use it. No one wants to join your cult. The fact you won't even try it says volumes. At least I have FF and Opera on my computer also.

Anyways this is prety much what you are going to get. They've already had beta 1, beta 2 preview, beta 2, beta 3 and now this version.

I always used IE for business purposes, but since Win95 I've stayed away from MS betas. With good reasons :)

IE7 is the best web browser I have ever used. Much better than FF.

I use firefox but also use IE when needed.

i using both browser.... but base of performance and usability .... firefox is the best and i need to use both due of my clients required on my html designs...

I never said for anyone to agree since I didn't ask for an opinion. I merely posted a link to those that have IE so they could get the last beta. No where did I say anyhting about IE one way or another nor did I ask for commetns on IE. That's the problem with the FF cultists. They think everything has to be about them. Fact is if someone is really really turned off by IE then the best browser they should be using is Oprea not FF.

The new IE is ok at best. The tabs in the previous betas prior to candidate 1 were much better in my opinion. Most times crap opens in new windows rather than the tabs like it did in previous betas which really blows.. I hope that gets corrected.

What's so good about IE7 anyway? They finally added tabs, or are there any other actually useful features besides that?

I'm afraid to say this, but I think that the new IE will pose a problem for future FF expansion, specially since FF seems to be eating away memory.

I'm skeptic about saying this too, but I think I kind of like the new IE more than than FF. I've had IE7 for a while, but only use it in extreme cases. I just don't want to have anything to do with it.

Besides, FF used to have the huge advantage of blocking pop up and pop under ads, but now many of them get through.

The only things that keep me using FF are the weather extensions and BB Code.

What so good about FF? The fact that it's a resource hog or the fact that graphics load like I'm on a 56K connection?

And if anyone says "extensions" I'm going to puke. I have no use for those. If I was a hacker and I wanted to cause havoc for FF users the first thing I do is create an "extension".

Do not know what you are talking about. Never had a single problem with tabs. Maybe it's just your computer. Tabs work fine for me. Maybe you should double check your tab settings. So far I like this beta the best. Beta 2 and 3 were a bitch to install. This one installed without a hitch. Also you don't have to uninstall beta 3 first yourself before isntalling this version.

Funny thing is I could stand tabs in FF. Another reason I didn't like FF. I couldn't figure out what was so great baout them. Now with tabs in IE I find how useful they actually are. Not sure what was fucked up about tabs in FF, but they was fucked up.

I'll say this again I would use Opera before FF and those FF lovers should actually download Opera 9 and use it before making any smartass comments. Like "extentions" Opera has "widgets", same thing.

How's the security with IE7 so far?

Somebody took their grumpy pill this morning. I tried it and I think it stinks but hey different strokes for different folks. I'll eventually install it on my main computer for testing when the majority of surfers have upgraded.

Anyone else having problems getting the videos on youtube to work with the new IE?
I keep getting the msg that flash is not installed but it is.

I've been using IE7 RC1 and I only see a few problems with Java & Javascript on some sites. My adult IDN sites are doing well without it, but it will be a tremendous boon to my traffic. Can't wait for the autoupdate to hit worldwide!
