Anyone else following the Jill Carroll hostage story on CSM?

Pretty awesome. I guess it is a 5 part, but a great read from someone that was a hostage in Iraq.

I read the first part yesterday. Very disturbing regardless of how well she appears to have been treated. I can't imagine what's to come.

So far they have treated her well. But she is hinting at that being some type of mental warfare.

It will be interesting in the next segment.

Quite possibly yes.

What "I" found most disturbing was her acceptance of death (for lack of a better description) and BEGGING them to use the gun instead of the knife. That was brutal.

The only thing I could think of while reading that was imagining my family having to accept that I was killed the same way that Daniel Pearl was. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to read the entire thing.
