I'm not so sure, Shia militia's are much much safer than Sunni militia's. Basically all the beheading's and stuff is from the radical Sunni's, who also hate the Shia very badly. If you see released journalists talk about it you will see examples of how relieved they said they were when they found out it wasn't Sunni's who caught them. I'm not saying they don't do some bad stuff, but I highly doubt they'd hurt an Israeli kid if they captured him. I'd say they'd release him immediately partly (perhaps mostly) for PR purposes.

And you think Israel hasn't been happy to have the occasional suicide bomber drop in on time? One example I can think of it when Sharon was in the US meeting with Bush about the controversial fence they were building. Bush was meant to pressure him on that very day on the issue and than bang, a bomb goes off in a cafe killing many. I bet Sharon was happy to hear about it as the issue was all but dropped.

No actually I think it is disgusting that it is true that both sides do take pleasure in their own civilans agony at certain times to allow them to try and seize the moral high ground. I was only trying to point out that it occurs on both sides, because ultimately war is a game of leaders, and everybody else on the field becomes a pawn.
