So, How Are You All Doing With AFF & Cams.com?
 

Hello everyone. I am just curious to see to see how are you affiliates are doing with AFF or Cams.com. As of today are the conversions still good? Is there a slow down? Or, is everything still steady?

I am almost ready to do a heavy promotion campaign for Passion.com (AFF & Cams are a bit much for me). I hope I don't loose to much money.

Basically, just trying to see are conversions still going strong for the Friendfinder Family of sites.

Cams.com isn't doing too well for me. AFF has always been solid.

Martin do you run Traffic Holder? If you do, do you think a site like Passion.com can convert well with your traffic?

Someone in another forum was stating to me that he can't get anyone to sign up for a membership for Cams.com. He has a whole load of free sign ups though, but no paid members.

my free signups have dropped by half or 2/3's in the last month or so and i dont know why

AFF is getting worst and worst :(

they jus sent me an email the other day saying i was converted to revshare lol .....nice....don't really promote them anyway just cams.com but i mostly sell ccbill and i know my avg retention on my sign-ups is well over a year i have a majority of my sign-ups going on 2+ years bunch of shit lol.......

These numbers seem to be what I'd expect - AWE and MoneyTree definetly convert at a high rate. Cams.com seems to be lower, but I do think you can snag some whales there ... the Per Minute rate can be very high for some performers which means more long-term $ for you vs. most of the other sites.

I find the same goes with Flirt4Free - lower conversion but very good retention and relatively high % of whales.

If I may ask, what is the problem with some free members not wanting to pay for Cams.com? What are some factors?

since Cams.com merged with AFF, i've all my sales stopped, i've been stuck at $43 for several months.

% Program: 3452 uniques, 66 members, 52 uniques per Free Signup, no sales.
PPS: 319 uniques, 6 members, no sales.

In 1998 I was at 1:15 on free signups with AFF, so within the limit for conversion to revshare. Today I'm on 1:40 and still worsening and I have been on revshare for years.

But... you may want to look a bit deeper into your stats because in 1998 I was earning about 4 cents per unique IP. These days it is almost 10 cents.

cams.com went down the toilet when it teamed up with AFF. I have no idea why.

Unenthusiastic girls, high prices, etc. On some sites the girls are very active in selling the guy to private chats. On others they don't really seem to care.

Don't obsess over conversion rates! (Unless it's a PPS program of course...)
With revshare the only thing that matters is how much profit you make, whether you convert 1:1500 or 1:10. If you want me to expand this reasoning I'd be glad to!

Try using their site in surfer mode for a while.
If you don't have credits, most girls won't even give you a 'hello' back.
However, walk in the room with credits and they'll say 'hi wanna play?' before you even say anything.

That's my theory on why cams.com does so bad; the models don't work towards making paying customers out of new visitors, they only focus on getting the proven paying customers to go private with them. I bet many 1st time visitors walk away disgruntled thinking all the shows were recorded because they couldn't get an answer out of the girls. :2 cents:

This year's average has been $0.03 cents per unique.

It's a tough balancing act though. If they talked to every freeloader in the chat, they'd be non-stop. Most guys just want a free look.

I do think that they should put a timer on the free chat for those without credits (or atleast those who have never bought credits in the past). Make it a minute for each girl.

Take the other webcam programs, like AWE for example, the girls there take to the time to chat with the freeloaders, sometimes even only a 'hi joe' is enough. No wonder other programs convert so much better.

It's not your traffic..it's the surfers who join up and find out that the standard members can't contact you unless you pay extra..You can't give your personal email address in a message to ANY member EVEN THOUGH YOU'RE A FUCKING PAYING MEMBER, they edit the shit out of your profile pics while you see other profiles with dicks and twats taking up their picture space..It's signing up for the 19.95 plan and getting charged 149.95 for a gold membership to where I had to call customer service and get it fixed..

That's just stuff within their control...Then you gotta deal with the 2-3 ACTUAL females in your area that aren't fake profiles or "standard" profiles where a bitch may have signed up for a free membership years ago and never logged in again, that will log in and get hit with a flood of THOUSANDS of men in the same area.. This in turn letting ugly bitches think they're superstars, the "cliques" that have formed in the AFF chatrooms where people aren't even trying to fuck, they just want to sit there and say *hugs* to other people that they're sure that they're far enough away so that they never have to meet them, etc. etc...

Cams & AFF are solid...if you're looking for alternatives though...& the great team at AFF can't get you fixed up (which im sure they can) check out the top link in my sig....it uses the tricams system (the old mtree backend)...with some hot revshare action.

AFF was great, but has dropped recently. Cams.com is real slow.

It's their website, #1 the images are always broken, or break daily... it's bufugly to being with, with gradeschool graphics..
