fuck joining the military

notabook 07-31-2006 09:04 PM

Join the military so they can force me to kill innocent people in nations we have no reason being in? I'll pass. Join the military so that I can defend this country from any invading force? You betcha.

stevo 07-31-2006 09:05 PM

Keyword: "almost".

I wouldnt mind donating a few months of my time, searching the mountains of Afghanistan. Just give me an internet connection so i can keep business running :winkwink:

madawgz 07-31-2006 09:09 PM

damn that must have taken lots of time to put together :\

kanalj 07-31-2006 09:09 PM

that picture makes we want to question the phrase "terrorists attacks".

Sure you can join the army and shoot stuff up but are you sure, I mean really sure, you are doing it for a just cause?

I'd like to be damn sure, without a doubt, before I go and wreck someones shit.
And not just "they told me they did it" -sure.

UtahSaints 07-31-2006 09:17 PM

Haha, your right, they'd just send me to Baghdad so i could "liberate" the Iraqi people. Why did we attack Iraq again? I like how Iran & N Korea are threatening the world and building nukes and the US goes after the one dictator without a weapons program.

OTerror 07-31-2006 09:24 PM

That's sad but joining the army wont make much difference. Unfortunately.

There is a LOT more to it than what you read and hear in the media. We are in Iraq to do a job (and it's not liberating Iraqis), don't worry about what the job is, just know that we have a job that needs to be done and we are over there doing it.

So don't think about it, just do what your told and don't ask any bloody questions? I'm sure what they are really there for is honorable and for the long term benefit of Iraq and not the expansion of American interests ;)

You kinda sound like a politician speaking to the masses of constant amnesia.

O hell, I probably lit a fire here *yawn*

You know - there was one Lebanese military man that was being interviewed and as he stood next to the bodies of say 30 dead children, his words were - 'You want to infuriate us into making us look like animals' - but he went to a tree, picked a flower and threw it on the bodies of those children and he said 'This is my message to all of you - I won't become an animal because of you and to justify your actions in the eyes of the world' - if that wasn't powerful, I don't know what is. Strangely enough, I didn't see it playing again on CNN at all. *But the guys raising their fists and yelling in favor of Hezbollah protecting them and death to Israel keeps getting airtime*

That's exactly right, don't worry about it. The sad fact is that most people are idiots (sorry but it's true) that couldn't understand military or political strategy if someone drew a diagram with crayons and slapped it on their forehead. The long term benefit of Iraq? Are we the United States of Iraq? The fact is that we will ALWAYS preserve our interests and our way of life before anyone else's. The average person has no business getting in the middle of this, as they do not have access to all of the facts.

Now order me to go to sleep, this is getting silly.

pornguy 07-31-2006 09:59 PM

What is going on in IRAQ has nothing to do with what happened in NY.

People like you scare me, or more the ideology you promote.
I'd like to ad something there, the average country seems to have no business getting in the middle of that.

So is what your saying that and since the average Joe don't understand politics or military strategy we just throw some haft-assed lie in their face and call some group "terrorists" to justify something that benefits some way of life?

I'm just left with asking if that "way of life" is worth it, am I less "free" then you are?

Well, depends on what you are calling a lie, I guess. Do you honestly believe that the government is always 100% honest with the average person about everything? As far as calling someone "terrorists", do you not consider Al-Queda or any of the other violent extremist groups "terrorists"?

Doctor Dre 07-31-2006 10:17 PM

Yea join the military so you can kill innocent people too ;)

No offense, but we are in the porn industry and I don't see anyone running around with a college degree in Political Science here.

Hell no, I expect any government to lie a hell of a lot but there is a limit. Though when corporate interest has a deep influence in any government you can start to worry. I believe that this is far gone in the U.S. I am ofcource referring to the military-industrial complex and I fear what Eisenhower warned would happen in his -61 farewell address has already happened and will shape the future of U.S foreign politics and the world.

As far as Al-Queda goes I'd call then extremists and maybe terrorists but let's not throw that word around to lightly. Seems like someone is trying to infuse "terrorist" into our frontal lobes so we just think someone is evil without asking questions. It's like the new iPod, you catch my drift? And it makes me worry that you can just throw that word in anywhere and boom, let's bomb them to bits.

I need some sleep real soon, can't make readable sentences much longer but please continue and I'll respond to one more.

Yea I know, but hell doesn't the low dollar affect you quite dramatically?
Anyway if politics was just for the elite I'd be a sad world but I'm going sleepy soon so you wont see this thread up there much longer.
