Hoooray for NameCheap!

I went to buy a domain at Namecheap and the "order processing..." part stalled out....no emails or anything saying it worked. So I said fkit and went about my day. 3 hours later.....I guess I did buy the damn domain after all :1orglaugh Only took 3 hours to email me and lmk

If I had known it worked I wouldn't have bought a diferent variant of the domain at another registrar

I don't think I'll be using Namecheap anymore :error

Tempest 07-23-2006 05:10 AM

huh?? You're blaming NameCheap for something that most likely had nothing to do with them?

woj 07-23-2006 05:26 AM

I never had any issues with them...

en21 07-23-2006 06:19 AM

good on u then :-)

polle54 07-23-2006 06:20 AM

hmm namecheap is normally a good service, are you sure the problems lies with them?

OG LennyT 07-23-2006 06:22 AM

I'm thinking possible operator error here

Kimo 07-23-2006 06:28 AM

how could it be an operator error if they emailed him THREE hours later?

minusonebit 07-23-2006 08:45 AM

NameCheap sucks. I hate thier interface.

DamageX 07-23-2006 12:55 PM

I'm amazed that some of you think that an email not arriving for 3 hours is necessarily NameCheaps problem... Or even that the order processing sat there for 10 minutes.. hmmmm.. could it maybe.. just possibly.. perhaps... be one of the dozen connections/routers etc. between you and the NameCheap servers??? maybe???

I've sent emails to myself out and in from the same mailhost and sometimes an email will take a couple hours to get to me.

Idiots...

MaddCaz 07-23-2006 07:18 PM

nice nice

CamsLord 07-23-2006 08:13 PM
