Who still has...

...3.5 and 5.25 inch floppy disks collectin' dust on the shelves or in a drawer?

Why?

Rebecca Love 04-26-2006 02:38 PM

PaulB IYP 04-26-2006 02:40 PM

GlydeGirl 04-26-2006 02:42 PM

I have a bunch of 3.5's with previous work on them. I haven't gotten rid of them because I have yet to archive to a newer medium. There are just more important things to do.... like fuck, eat, party, hang with my friends, enjoy the great weather... those disks will probably be with me for YEARS to come! LOL

ready lube 04-26-2006 02:45 PM

I ask the same question about zip disks, they sure went away fast.

EvilFubAr 04-26-2006 02:57 PM

I like to use them as coasters for my drinks.

WWC-Pajio 04-26-2006 03:01 PM

Joey B. Lo 04-26-2006 08:09 PM

I have thousands of them! All my first sets were shot using a sony mavica with a 3.5 floppy disk drive. Man I remember those shoots. 8-10 pics then pop out the disk and pop in another. Each shoot I did I needed like 10 disks!!!!!! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh

reynold 04-27-2006 12:03 AM

Oh hell yeah, tons of 3.5's, and piles of 5.25's too! Why? I dunno really.. The only 5.25 drive I have is in my old XT with it's massive 20 MB hard drive.

vantage 04-27-2006 07:15 AM

OMG i remember the mavica what a dumb idea that was. You always had to carry around tons and tons of disks.

For some reason a lot of realty agents seem to like the mavica back then. I often saw real estate people hauling them around for snapshots of properties.

Sosa 04-27-2006 01:30 PM

I got some 3.5 inchers :) and not just in my pants :P
