Ok what do you guys think.. My first gallery..I have been trying to learn Photoshop,Arles,Thumbsplus,Fireworks.. I was ready to throw the pc out the window.. This will be part of the free Galleries on Mafiabucks.. What do you think?? And yeah Seth helped me with the graphics..

Quite good (you spammer :p) - you need to link your last ad (bot.gif) to your sign-up page (it's not linked to anything yet). I like the way the last thumb(14.jpg) isn't linked to a big pic (dunno if that was intentional - keep it like that anyways ;))

Yeah, you should make the thumbs look like they're not squished. But other than that, it's all good :)

OK I'm all ears let';s hear it... My problem was tying to configure the thumbs to 150x150.. what a nightmare...This is just a rough draft.. It's not like or anything.. It's a basic template for the free gallery area.. So keep the Ideas coming

If you're advertising an amateur site - keep it looking a little amateur...

you can just resize an image in ps. then save it to a different folder

make sure perspective is enabled

Snow... the hubby says to see what the size IS on your pics heightxwidth and do the math to resize them... You can't force them to the same size for HxW and get a decent thumb no matter the size you start with since most photos are say 180H x 200w etc., You have to work the ratios.

If you are using the same camrea it will be fairly easy to figure out (and then the math will be the same for each shoot). IF you want them the exact 150x150 then you have to trim the sizes before thumbing them.

No no no - it looks amateur (don't take that as an insult btw!) - I'd keep it the layout the way it is, put a href on your last gif and submit it to the Hun NOW!

The trick to remember is, your thumbs do not have to show your whole image.

So, if you want a 150x150 thumb but your picture is 320x960, what you do is bash on it with any image editor that will let you do crops and resizes. Select a crop box that is a multiple of the sizes you want. In your case, say, 300x300. Get the face and boobs, get the ass, get the legs, whatever the hottest part of your image is. Then when you resize your thumb, you can make a perfect 150x150 with no distortion.

I'm still looking for an image editor that will help me semi-automate this process of selecting an area of the image to make thumbnails of. Lots of stuff out there will make thumbs out of an entire directory of pics, but I have yet to find one that will step through a directory, throw each pic on my screen long enough for me to select my crop box, and then do the cropping, resizing, and saving automagically.

The font is very bad, change it to something that everyone can read without having to concentrate to much...

The text sucks -- bad font and bad color. If I was the surfer, I'd skip right over that part.
