Umm, this song is from the mid-70s ... try asking people who are 45+ :)

ballad of jane by LA guns...

that song cane out when i had lost a good female friend of mine... the lyrics of that song said everything i felt at that time.

to this day when i hear it i cant stop myself from crying...

and no, that DOESNT make me a pussy.

same thing pretty much happened again about 4 years ago...

another good gal friend of mine died... our song to each other was lonely road of faith...

still get choked up when i hear that one too.

I know, i thought iof that later -- :) -- it was on the radio a lot though, it had not yet made that transition to "oldie" -- amazing, songs would be on the radio for years! -- remember that? Now, it's like it never made it to the radio... "This was Britney's limited edition cover of 'Smoke gets in your Eyes' for the Camel Campaign... yeah, you can only get it with a carton..." :Oh crap
