2nd link has a red x...

Second one is a red X so I'd go with the first one. :thumbsup

First one is nice. White space is always better.

change the color of the gradient across the address bar in #1 and also change the "color change button" which im assuming thats what home is. Go for a shade of grey maybe?

I think I'm just gonna build on #2 with the colour splash... can't seem to come up with anything better atm.
