Staples Center - how bad is parking there?
 

I'm going there for the first time tonight, and don't have prepaid parking - how bad is it to park in the area and do i need to allow a lot of extra time to find a space?

Prepaid is always good but you can find parking not a big deal

You can park right across the street for $20

If you arrive early enough, parking shouldn't be a problem. Availability is normally not a problem although it depends largely on the event taking place. Slots are usually available, you just have to pay more.

Just dont get caught in the parking scam like we did and you will be ok....

You'd have better luck finding parking if you took me with you

thanks everyone, i'm coming up from SD on a Thursday afternoon, so i plan on leaving plenty early...knowing that I'll be OK if i get there early makes me feel better :-)

Go down the street by the pantry. Theres a huge skyrise there which has underground parking for $6. It's 2 blocks away. Figuroa just past 9th.

Yea but walking to there after the event u will probably get shot or mugged. You wouldn't catch me walking in downtown after dark :thumbsup
