Both my visacards "hacked" :/
 

Just got a call from my local bank. Not the call you'd like to recieve. It turns out that my personal and business visacards were among the cards hacked early spring (march or something?). Can't remember the details but a few million cards were exposed. My personal card has been used and they are supposed to call me back about it... :(

Both cards has been cancelled and now I'm stuck without any. I'm leaving for my first holiday in 7 years on Saturday so this is no fucking good. Anyone know if I could get another card really quick? Lady said that they'd mail me the new ones next week but thats no good for me... fuck :Oh crap

i'm pretty sure they can actually issue you a new card "instantly" in the branch office.. ( like a temp card ).. Best idea is to go into your branch office and ask to speak to the bank manager..

As with all things, make sure to make yourself more important to them..

Mention the fact you are looking forward to purchasing a new house and plan on having them do the mortgage, etc etc..

thanks.. might pay them a visit tomorrow.. hope they can.. we always have my girlfriends cards.. but heck.. all hotels etc are ordered with those cards so a little unsure about that aswell.. lots to call :/

They sent mine in two office days thanks to fedex. U just have to tell them it is urgent :)

problem is.. if they order them today, I'm still leaving for my holiday early Saturday :/ .. hope they can issue one in the bank.. atleast my gf has her cards.. but I like to pay so a bit weird for me to visit a restaurant and let her pay..

Take some cash out of the bank and get a prepaid Amex, Visa or MC. Call the hotel you where you will be staying and explain to them what is going on as they will need a valid card when you check in. Rental car company - same thing.
