Do a system restore from a previos date when it worked. Tha's if your running WinXP.

pop3 is broken
try restarting it on your server
do emails sent to that address bounce back?

jayme_ 06-26-2005 12:42 AM

check your pop3 server settings (hostname, username, password)

Have you tried closing your outlook completely and reopening to see if the mail comes in? I have this happen occasionally for no apparent reason and when I close and reopen the mail comes in :) Worth a try, which may have already tried though.

check port 110 it could be blocked
norton has been known to block the port after a virus sig file update.

I was going to suggest Eudora . . . been using it for 9 years, and I love it . . . at least it will tell you if the problem is Outlook related or not.

Although I do not like Outlook because every virus known to man was made to be sent on Outlook, I highly doubt that is the problem

setup another mail client like Eudora etc,
use the same settings as what you have in Outlook Express.
Be sure to check the settings that says "leave a copy of messages on the server"

If you can download messages then, Outlook is broken, backup then reinstall.
If you can't download, check you server pop3 service make sure its started.
