How to check if a domain is banned in google?
 

I just acquired the domain and there are sites linking to it, and there is nothing on the site as of right now.

But i look in the access log, and there is nothing from google bot

any way i can check?

if search for the domain doesn't show any results and google toolbar page rank is grayed-out the domain is probably banned. Pls correct me if im wrong.

not seening googlebot in logs has very little to do with whether domain is banned or not. keep in mind that google can browse your pages with different user-agent sig.

site:<www.yourdomain.com>

It will tell you all of the pages Google has indexed. For instance, if you wanted to see the pages that Google has indexed for GFY you would put in site:www.gofuckyourself.com.

If Google doesn't have any of your pages indexed then it doesn't mean that it's banned, it could be something else. However, that is a good way to check if your pages are being indexed. :2 cents:

type in search box at google your domain name without "http://www." and if in results you site is not indexed try to hit "from the site button".if you get any result that means that you are not banned ,if not hit the "contain the term " button" and if there are results that means that you are banned

hey, i put my domain i made a blog of 3 months ago in google and it came with a description and title of the old site. How is this possible? Or do i have to wait for a google update or something?
