Amber Alerts
 

Ok, this is getting nuts. I think the amber alert is a good idea, but come on. I can't go a day without seeing them and there is at least two interruptions for each alert. This last one was on for 5 mins. They're always on when you watching something interesting.

kinda like the weather alerts here in wisconsin.

if its going to rain, the weather men freak out & have that annoying "Doppler radar has indicated..." & then that little map of the state on the left corner of the screen.

fuckin annoying.....and its not for a tornado or anything, just rain :(

I have cable. Amber was from this area so people here are super gung-ho about it.

I see amber alerts for kids of different races but whenever I turn on CNN or MSNBC I see a caucasin child being sought

What's Amber alert?

The amber alerts can get annoying but at least they are something that works and gets used. Unlike the fucking pain in the ass emergency broadcast system. First of all they do not need to test the damn thing twice a month. They never will use it EVER! hell the one time they could of used it 9/11 they of course did not. Why? because naturally news stations break into programing and cover the story. I say end this complete waste of a stupid system that more than likely costs tax payers money.
