how to find out all domains that belong to 1 person?
Is it possible?
And no, I would need something better than WHOIS.sc advance features. |
Are you checking on me again? I told you i didnt publish your naked photos!
|
hehhee lol dalai!
polish you can ask the guy :) lol |
Would be very interesting indeed.......
|
if this was possible, people could find out which elite domains you own :)
|
call them up and say " hi we are giving away $100 for every domain you own , how many domains do you own ? "
|

no idea what you mean by "elite" but i just own a few good ones, but that absolutely cannot be compared to players like webfather etc |

i want to get in touch with him, so perhaps i thought he probably owns some other domains and maybe some of them are more developed and they might be helpful in getting in touch with him |
its not possible ;)
only a n00b would even consider that this can be done you figure out why |

i also dont think it is, but i would like to get proven wrong :upsidedow |
not possible, but you can find sites hosted with same ip address
|
Just because they are all hosted with the same ip doesn't mean the same person owns them all.
|
There was a time when this was possible :) ...but I don't know of any way anymore.
|
Used to be a way when NetworkSolutions held all the domains to look up the domain owner and get a list of all their domains, I tink now with so many registrars it's not possible.

I mean i know the one domain he owns and it happens to be registered with Network Solutions indeed, so can I look up the possible other domains he owns with them? |
I don't know if you still can. Used to be you looked up their nic handle or something to get more info. You could do it by punching the company name into their search form.
I am 99% sure this is no longer available. |

There still has to be a way.
The lawyer who sent me a C & D found all my domains. Even ones I forgot about. :( |
Verisign Network Solutions I believe is still the king fish, and al of the other registrars are resellers if memory serves. So I am sure somehow, someway it's possible with a court order.
The internet is just like the phone companies. Somewhere there is one central place controlling all domain names, and IP's for countries/world or whatever. However, that doesn't mean it's open to the general public to stalk other webmasters. :pimp |
I guess its imposible, the only thing you can do is look what domains are hosting in the same ip adress.

Assuming he doesn't enable the privacy blocking that might be able to do it |
icq me, maybe i can help.. i have a lot of old data.
|
you need a recent db dump and scan for strings to search by
|
hijack GoDaddy.com or NetworkSolutions
Can't think of another way. |
It can be done and it's quite complex.
Get a hold of me $20 per search that yields results. No guarantee to ALL domains but usually pretty good. I just need the registrant's name or admin's name. |
I must say, it appears than 80% of the replies here are clueless when it comes to domains.
GoDaddy is no more authoritative than directnic. Verisign manages the registry and always has (since early 90s), NOT NetSol. Netsol never managed the registry. Netsol is no longer owned by Verisign (well, 10% is). |
