Epoch / Paycom pay pages totally screwed!

Decided to bring this up here to hopefully get some attention. Their techs refuse to admit there is a problem.

When trying to signup to a site that uses Epoch an ERROR sometimes appears that says "Check Your Email".

No matter what you put in you cannot join the site.

This is an on and off problem but has been happening since Vegas.

One min you can join a site, the next time you try even another site with a totally "new email" and "IP" and "credit card" you get the ERROR.

If you have noticed your conversions going down this may be the reason.

BuggyG 01-20-2005 09:43 AM

was wondering about that
thought was just me
but I guess it isn't
so when do you think they'll admit it or actually fix the problem??

PR_Dave 01-20-2005 09:47 AM

The problem has to do with their flex post and not accepting emails.

Error comes randomly but enough that it is totally causing a huge % of people not to be able to join.

They must be able to see the trend of sales going down.

candyflip 01-20-2005 09:47 AM

The past 36 hours have been shot to shit. Consistant traffic, but conversions aren't there.

Yes, Agreed!

iBanker 01-20-2005 11:12 AM

Bump for a response from Paycom....

The line was actually busy when we just called.

that really sucks......

Furious_Male 01-20-2005 11:25 AM

Has anyone seen the issue where the surfer is hit with the "you are being directed to a non secure connection do you want to proceed" while trying to join?

Trax 01-20-2005 11:28 AM

FUCK... I knew it... I knew that it wasn't my traffic... this finally explains why my conversions have been sucky whereas my traffic went up...

Rand 01-20-2005 11:37 AM

OK guys....

This is the first I've ever heard of this. I'm getting with tech now. If there is a problem we'll find it and fix it.

But... I must say our sales figures do not show any decline in sales or conversions. In fact, just the opposite.

If anyone has a screen-shot example that you can send to me please send to Rand @ Paycom.net.

iBanker 01-20-2005 11:38 AM

What bugs me is they say nothing is wrong, AND ITS ACTUALLY UP TODAY.....gimme a break

its 1:45PM and my Hun listing has made 1 trial. This is my 40th maybe 50th gallery of the same and by this time Im usually doing 10 sales on a bad day and 15-20 on a good day. So, yes...ID say there is something seriously wrong.

We have thousands of members and bring many new sales a day and have had ZERO problems with Paycom, especially in the last week up till today. I would have to dissagree with the entire thread.

Nice try to get some attention though lol :thumbsup

The one and only Amparo, met her in Vegas - great rep! :thumbsup

Problem solved.

A brief explanation:
Last Wednesday a new server was added to our array. Unknown to us it had an
intermittent problem which resulted in email addresses being rejected for
clients using FlexPost when that particular server was called. The server
issue was found and corrected yesterday and no further instances have
occurred since that time.

Since this was only one server in our array, and an intermittent problem, it
was difficult to diagnose since it didn't affect overall sales and nearly
impossible to recreate the problem in testing. Thanks to those of you who
provided input and contacted us directly to help us resolve the problem.

All servers are now functioning correctly.

Amparo has been out of the office for the past couple of days, including today. If you've sent her an email I'm sure she will reply as soon as she can.

If there is something you need immediatly, drop me a line. Rand @ Paycom.net.

We change to CCBill when ever something is wrong with Epoch, like any program would.
