who here knows how to Map a Drive

Help!

I want to use WS ftp but a friend of mine says I need to map the drive if I want to transfer files from a different computer on the network.

on what OS. That is not true on a windows machine just search
like always and when you find the files off you go. Mapping a drive
is done mostly if you want to get to the drive in a hurry. But you don't have to map it to access it.

Do you use WS FTP Pro?

It will not show networks available like the earlier versions. I use Win 2k.

I want to keep all my files on one puter on the network and transfer them via ftp from another puter on the network. So my friend that uses this version said to map the drive then you will be able to see it.

I can just wait for him if need be. I thought some people would know how. I am having a hard time searching how to do it.
