Ok, I have a question for anyone that can answer it.

If you put a banana in an airtight package, (i.e. a vacuum seald bag) would it still turn black and rot?

No I don't have a vacuum sealer, which is what I'm asking.

If you put a banana in a fridge, it'll turn black within hours.

You might try putting a condom on. One with a lot of lub... And make sure you use a banana-flavored one.

Here's why I asked:

As most of you know I do movie fx. In fx we occasionally work with a chemical called WC-782, it's a clear rigid urethane.

I thought if the banana could last in an airtight surrounding, and not rot. I could get the bananas that I'm sure Lensman will have at his party again this year, and sink them in a block of this chemical.

A "used" banana forever sealed in a block of clear urethane of the guys favorite porn star.

You'd only need to sell a few before a trend caught on.
