Anyone ever died while posting to GFY?
 

I was thiking about a local guy who died while playing Counter Strike at an internate gaming zone. He played for 2 1/2 days straight with no food or water and no sleep. ZERO. Ohh wait, he did drink Red Bull, that was what kept him awake. Anyway, he was playing away and suddenly he just lurched sideways, slumpted, and his friggin heart stopped.

Now we can't have 24 hour gaming zones in a lot of areas in LA anymore. Fucking moron...

Wondering if GFY has a similar tale to tell.

Someone posted on here that their husband died of a heart attack while he was on GFY.

I think it ended up being a prank. But a lot of people thought it was real.

I almost died on GFY.
But it was because I was eating and saw something that made me laugh so hard that I sucked food into my trachea. Mike had to hit me on the back over and over and it flew out of my mouth and nose. :xomunch

I remember one incident where someone had relayed their interest in suicide over ICQ to a GFY'er and the GFY'er asked for someone in the UK to send an ambulance.. Never heard the rest of it though, and since the dead guy wasn't a GFY'er, he doesn't count and he didn't die from exhuastion or over stimulation.

You are talking about a guy called Pathfinder, who was bit of a dick and fought in every war since the War of Independance, was in love with the military, hated anyone saying anything slightly critical of the US and died at his computer which was logged into GFY.

His son found him dead and immediately posted that his Dad had died and how much he loved GFY.

A few days later anther dick head appeared called theking, who also loves soldiers (I think he only ever got fucked in uniform) and though he has nothing to do with adult, he even thinks we are scum, insists on posting here for our amusement and to be insulted.

Of course everyone with two working brain cells thinks it's the same guy. Maybe they were just gay lovers, that would make sense.

Those news stories make it sound like the IRC people almost drove him to it lol...I don't believe anything I read in an IRC channel so if some dude said "Ya man I just took 150 Vicodin" I would have had the same reaction as the kids in that IRC channel.
