Things to do in San Antonio...?
 

I'm going to take a trip to San Antonio to look at apartments and such, but I will be there for 5 days. Anyone here from San Antonio or been there? Wondering what are some cool places to check out besides, Six Flags, Alamo, and The River Walk, anything else like places to eat, clubs, bars, ect..

drive up to Austin and hit 6th street you're only about an hour 1/2 away tops.

6th Street would be the perfect place to take your girl.

It has some of the best music in the country playing at clubs there...check it out.

My grandparents used to live in San An until they passed away. I was just back last summer and aside from the places you mentioned to go see, that whole town is a festering shithole. I would not see why anyone would choose to move there.

Cisco networking is big there, and that's what I'm going into.

the pay may be worth it but i seriously would considered finding another place it's "big". I guarantee you within the year your car or apt. will br broken into and you will be in an auto accident with a mexican that has no car insurance.
