Heres an idea... daily signup statistics for the industry.
 

Everyone is always asking "are your sales slow today?"
or stating "our sales were through the roof today!"

Regardless of the size of your company, wouldn't you like to know how your sales trend for the day / week / month / year stacked up against other webmasters and the industry as a whole?


Anyway that's the rough idea... the demand is there.

Obviously you aren't going to get webmasters to give their ACTUAL numbers.

They can use a multiplier, and so long as they stick to that (unknown) multiplier the +/- % stats will be accurate.

StatsRemote could easily do an overall trend for all sponsors......

I think there would be a lot of sponsors who would pay big money for them NOT to do it....

I'm in, but I tend to be a bit analytical. Is that ok?

ya, half the internet could be knocked off line because of nuclear holocaust and sponsors will be lined up talking about how much sales are up. :)
