what company to use for stock trading?
i'm looking to open an account with either Scottrade, Etrade, or Ameritrade.. which company do you recommend using?
i'd like to be able to trade penny stocks too, ive heard some companies dont allow it online. my first account deposit will be $2,000 who do you use? |
i used to use etrade never had a problem with them.

I have accounts with both Ameritrade and Etrade. I don't think you can go wrong with either. They are the bigger players have plenty of tools and are easy to use.
I am not sure about the penny stocks though. That is something you will have to look into. |
if you plan on playing with just 2k, stick with an online company. If you decide to up the stakes, you are better off with a firm.

hey FM do you have the power account with etrade? a regular account has $20 trades, yikes!
|
Etrade :thumbsup

ameritrade.com is one of the best ones! especially if your gonna day trade.

i used to use ameritrade too. you can't go wrong with them.

yeah ameritrade looks good to me.. etrade is kind of scaring me off with the high fees..
hey triumph did you use to go on efnet? |

Ameritrade is cheaper without a doubt. I am paying 10.95 per trade. |
FM, for a first timer.. you'd recommend Ameritrade over Etrade? :)

I suggest Ameritrade, the last time I checked the fees and the services of Etrade...I opened an account with Ameritrade
