other than yourself - do you use the search function on GFY to look up particular people and their posts - other than yourself - and who's posts do you search for?

I search for people posts everyday!!
I often use it to search my own name when I wake up incase I was drunk posting like this one!!
Must check to make sure I didnt say anything to stupid!!!

interesting is when you search for your name in posts, and display the results as posts, not threads. that way you can see who replied to you and what.

This board moves so fast I use the search to see who replied to me the day before. There should be an option to automatically subscribe to every thread you reply to. Having to remember to click the subscribe button every time doesn't work:)

no, I go by thread topics, not by posters...

there's a couple of non-adult boards i visit that have this feature and it's quite handy. i'm surprised more boards don't have this functionality.

I usually read some old stuff by Wizzo, (some) kmanrox and SixNine. Still insightful, intelligent, and important... even after all this time. I came across their stuff originally when I was doing keyword searches. Now I actually try to read their back posts.

yep :) i use it often. that way i don't have to piss people off by posting a question that has already been answered a thousand times. i also do it if i'm gonna check out a sponsor, or individual i'm about to do business with.

i like to do a grogan search every now and again. its amazing the shit he got away with

I use it once in a while. I was just using it to search for gin - looking for contact info is when I generally use it (Yes I check profile first) also when looking for scammers etc.

Im always diggin through old threads for info, or to get a better idea about a person. I search for HOAX threads beacause they are always entertaining and funny! I always tell newbies to search often becuse there is plenty of useful information in old threads.

when I buy something from someone on a forum, I allways research their name.. on that forum and the other top adult forums..

I allso do searches on my own, so I can find the topics I posted in... GFY moves too fast sometimes

so i search for old topics usually that i saw and need reference to or else if i need to find anything do a search for content , scripts , or sometimes Vancouver i do a search for its great ! You really need it on a fast pace board like this

I search using names and thread titles... too many fucking threads being started that is on the same subject and it kicks all the other ones to the 2 or 3rd or whatver page.. no sense in digging through everyones bullshit threads to find the one you want.
