New virus trick for the unwary...
 

A message that says something to the effect of your email address expiring, and to read the attached message to find out how to avoid this. Most of us likely wouldn't fall for it, but others might. Just a word for the wise :)

There are 1001 different viruses and this is just one of them.
I think a general tip: do not open attachments is more in its place.

Yeah fortunately I was paying attention and know we run our own mailserver, so it was pretty obviously a fraud, but not everyone has the computer savvy to realize that it IS a trick. Unfortunately that's why they couch these types of viruses in emails that look appealing or important enough for people to open, even though they know they shouldn't open email attachments.

they also use you're domain name telling that it is almost expired ,then too look in the attatchment for a good deal
