How can I get more free site submitters?
 

It seems these all webmasters do is submit galleries. I get more galleries than I can ever review or list on any given day, but hardly any free sites to fill 1/3 of a page per day. How do I go about getting 100+ free sites submitted per day?

do you have your linklist linked on gg & jim?
also trade links on the "thank you page" with other linklist owners

Yes it is listed with gg and jim. No I don't have recip links on my thank you page, but neighter does my TGP, but yet I get 100s of submitted galleries per day.

That's b/c TGP galleries are autosubmitted typically while free sites are typically hand submitted.

From june 2001 till March 2003, it was a private LL that only listed my free sites and a few sponsors and friends feeders. Since then, it been open to the public at large.

I have a new link list and are always looking for more submits and trades :)

Out of curiousity, are getting alot of free site submitted to you LL or you are in the same boat as me?

Personally, I think many webmasters have deserted the LL market or are not aware of it. Now everyone are into the galleries...

market is saturated with free galleries :helpme in a few years 1:1,000,000 would be a dream

How long time are sites listed?

Until they reach the bottom of the pagewhich can take up to a year in some categories.

Occasionally I'll search for new sites to add to the submission database, but I'm hesitant, most of the time it isn't worth it. I add 40 new sites, and two weeks later, 70% of them will be fucked up. Problems associated with upgrading a submission database...

1. You submit one site, come back the next day, and find that you're banned for absolutely no reason (European webmasters are the absolute worst for pulling this shit).

2. You add the recip code, add the link to your submission list, fill in all your details, hit submit.... and get an error 500. Or you hit submit, and you get "banned html" for no reason at all (they probably banned the word "and" or something). You mail them, and never get a reply. Or you hit submit to find that your fucking PAID host is banned (!).

3. You hit submit, and it's one of those "use this unique recip code - you send us 1 visitor, we'll send you one back" sites... and now you have to add/modify every single page with a stupid unique recip code.

4. You add their site to your submission list, upload their recip image, link them, make and submit 1 site/day... and after 2 weeks, the link list is gone and has been replaced by an FPA. Or, you add them to your submission database, come back two weeks later, and they're now "only accepting partner submissions". You apply for a password, and never hear anything back.

5. You add 20 new link lists to your submission database, come back a week later, and find that 18 of them are now wanting you to upload preview thumbnails. One site wants them to be 88*88 pixels, one site wants them to be 100*80 pixels, one site wants to hotlink a 90*90 thumb from your server, another one wants thumbnail that is 50*70 pixels...


Advantages of adding new sites to a submission database

1. You'll find maybe 1 new source of (long term) traffic. Even if they send only 4 visitors/week.

IMHO, I think people these days think submitting to TGPs is the only way of generating traffic. They no longer submit to link lists, top lists or do hard-coded link exchange like in the day.

Could you show me your webmaster page with other LL hardcoded links?

You should also open the free site links into a new window.

You are probably losing traffic by having them load in the same one as your site :2 cents:

if a surfer doesnt like the site they first hit they can always go back to your directory and choose another then :Graucho

I don't think it is a good idea to open sites on a new window on a LL or any non traffic trading sites. For my trading traffic sites I do open sites on new window tho.

Just a question: are you looking for different domain sites or different directories (even on same domain9 are OK? If so I'd send you several a week. btw, do you update daily on LL? If so, why? most link lists update weekly :)

Like most LL, I don't really care if the free sites are on sub-directories, sub-domains or even different domains.

I pretty much update daily or at least four time a week. I would guess the other LL don't get that many submission to make it their time to review and update their site daily.

Because my trading sites main objective is to trade traffic while my LL and hubs are there to generate higher profit margin:)

I see myself in that..and webmasters here talk about "I submit to my 300 tgps in 20 minutes" ..how is that possible?..it is always something that gets wrong either with linking codes or with there tgp..they need a thumb and it's 300 diffrent sizes out there..is it really like this..I contact this tgps manuel sending them an email. I only got answer from hanks and premier pics and this one more. Those others I haven't heard shit from in 3 weeks...rrrr+ I got some nice bounce backs from emails I did send. Where does the money come from in this bizness..??? ohhh..I got 6 hits to my sponsor from pk the other day...I think I need a new "hobby"...everything is killing me..all the rules --the rules the rules(echo)..I think I turn to the other side in a month if I don't make good money soon..online casino biz. You don't need 500 clicks to sponsors and if you get a join it can be woth thousands.. but I haven't give up yet. I must agree without a good investment it's hard to make much money in no time...but I have made mistakes too and I know what I gonna do with the money I make now...invest every single cent :thumbsup
