It doesn't sound likely, unless you can physically get to a bank branch.

True. I tried it years ago, it is a no-go unless you go there physically at least once.

With internet banks, I bet there is a way to open an account without a branch visit. But only if you have an address in the country where the bank is based.

There is no problem to open an account really, it's the cc and net access part that makes it hard.

With the account, they give you a ATM/Checkcard with the Visa logo.

That card is used as a credit card as long as you have funds in the account, either online or in ATM and shops.

you need a social security number to open a bank account

however, it is possible to open an account in the business name if you have an EIN. not easy, but it can be done

Thinking I might find a branch office here in Europe for some bank, what major US bank accepts adult orientated transaction without any hassale?

What he said. you will have to go there and get a SSN, which is not hard, then go to a bank and open an account.

They also want a copy of your signature.

No. I have a personnal TD Waterhouse bank account in the US and have No SSN.

I am opening a business account and you need a EIN. I got it right away with my corp in Delaware ( I am Bill Gates neighboor... on the shelf).

The thing about " adult" is probably going to be the scre up. Open your accounts without divulging all these details.

Always look to US states that have a large population of foreigners if you need a US bank account without being a US citizen.

I'd try a Florida branch of First Union.
