question

when i view my site everything looks fine.. but when i goto the other computer where my image is placed (the image of me with the hat) it doesnt look the same as it does on my other computer. It doesnt look complete and looks broken around the image.. anyone else see this?

Bigdaddyhgh 09-10-2003 09:40 PM

Looks broken here too.. all the way across to the right side of the text.

Somethings not right but I have no idea how to tell you to fix it.

NaughtyJenn 09-10-2003 09:41 PM

ok so i know its just not me.. so some of you its fine others its not... now im just going to go crazy lol

If I make my text size smaller, everything looks fine. Set the font size with pixel size or define the size in css. That takes the browsers "text size" setting out of play.

yep, thats it.. might wanna cut on the text...

The only thing that I can see is that the table is breaking apart... The image of you in the hat heeds to be a bit smaller to fit the table cell better so it does not vreak up. :2 cents:

NaughtyJenn 09-10-2003 09:47 PM

so whats the best solution.. that image i put in is the right size accord (the hat picture) just have no clue how i am going to fix this

the text that starts with "One day I decided to go".. just change it to a smaller font.. like

PHP Code:

<font style="font-family: Verdana; font-size: 9pt; line-height: 1.1em;">One day I decided to go ...</font

edit: if it looks fine on another computer try holding ctrl and moving the mouse wheel on the page.. should change the text size

This is what I see....

The white was an add in... it says...

"move the text away from the side a hair or two... looks too crowded and too close to the image on the left...

Other than that... it looks real good :thumbsup

its still farked up if you view it with large fonts, Whatyou need to do is use css style sheet take out all <..fonts></..fonts> tags in dreamweave click text goto css click new click ok then name it what ever set your fontst here then high light the text and go back to text/css click on the name you named it and it will do just fine..
