How much of your wealth do you give to your family?

Do you hook your family up with money help pay their mortgage or whatever? I mean immediate family, father, mother, brother, sisters. I wouldn't feel right making alot of money and buying shit without sharing it with my family. Like if i had $150,000 or whatever to buy a 2nd or 3rd car i would buy someone in my family a house first. But that's me, and i love cars:1orglaugh If you say you bought your parents dinner last night you need to be:ak47:

I support my mom financially 100%

mrthumbs 08-31-2003 04:53 PM

most gfy members need monthly support from their family.. :2 cents:

HEARTBREAKER 08-31-2003 05:11 PM

i share with my family the 50% of my income!:thumbsup

Kimmykim 08-31-2003 05:14 PM

I supported my brother financially when he was in school, he can do it himself now.

My mom's sooo stubborn that she won't take money, but then again she's also got a smart little retirement stash put back so I'm not really worried.

Tuga 08-31-2003 05:27 PM

Too much!

lexr 08-31-2003 05:42 PM

I don't share anything. Except the money I send to my parents every month or so. No one else really deserves it. And since I have no wife or kids, no money goes to that portion of the family either.

i recently paid of my parent's mortage, bought my dad a new car, sent them to Mexico on a vacation, and am paying for the renovations on their home.

Good stuff, I'm buying my mom a new car in the next week or so!

She's excited about that for sure!

Samoan 09-01-2003 11:38 AM

I bought them a pretty nice car in December. They already paid their mortgage, so I didn't get a chance there.

Our Mom lives with us......she's been with us for four years and Dad did too, until he died last year....

We support her totally....we'd buy her a condo or rent her an apartment...but, she's not able to live on her own...I'd be afraid she'd burn the place down or something....her thinking skills aren't very good.
