I think both (uploading, downloading) is illegal in the US.
In some other countries (like Germany) is only the uploading illegal because when you are downloading you can't now that the file you are downloading is illegaly send to you. In some other countries you can upload and download illegal movies and so on without a problem. So it depends on where you live... |
I admit I am a leecher I have my File shareing off!

Big Brother is alive and well....
Makes you wonder what else they can track from us. |
I have not heard of that. I did get the warning from some kazza user that told me I was sharing copyrighted music and programs. I'll just wait till they bust down my door and blame my roomate!

You crazy bastards, just turn off sharing and move all files out of your shared folder after you download. And use Kazaa Lite K++.
No lawsuit for you! |

What gets me is....
Ok, I downloaded a copy of Bruse Almighty when it was still in the theaters... The movie I downloaded was of DVD quality... Where did it come from? Ity was not someone sitting in the theater with a cam corder... It was not out on DVD yet since it was still in the theaters... My guess is that someone from the movie company leaked it out... So if they are going to just toss this stuff out there... I'm gonna pick it up. |
Hey I just found all the pictures from www.mybirthdaysuit.com on another site, they're pretty nice. Thanks for the free pics. :Graucho

I would be careful.. the gov is really cracking down on this now... I have actually stopped downloading so much. There are currently 20 people here in Denver that are being sued for file sharing... that number is growing daily..

How does this sueing stuff work.. for example, can RIAA sue an international user, say located in denmark or so?

as you can see I'm still online. |
