I noticed the thread on advertising in your sig file. Just got me thinking.
With todays outlook on spamming other than a sig file there are few ways of getting the word out about anything new.

Do you think we have hurt ourselves by setting strong anti spam rules on boards?

well ok I have something new for me but to come here and post it would not be cool, so we post to the announcements section.

How many really ready announcements forums?

This forum is for spamming and spamming only.
There are no serious convo's here, it's all scams, spams and other misc bullshit ^^

A smart move from swoit, since all those sigs spammer are cheaper then a big bannerspot on GFY...Funny some ppl who use them go so low...I mean of course you can have it in your sig. But spamming is for a few bucks is, well you know what I mean:)

aren't boards to share information, networking and deal making?
How would someone let you know what they did so you could make a deal without the sig file? Not like it is a welcome thing anymore for someone to post "Hey I got this new thing, give it a try"
At least not on most boards anymore
