yes!

just remember... just because it looks good, doesn't mean it converts.

a lot of designers do kick ass work artisticly, but can't convert for shit.

look for sites that have held onto the same design for a long time.

but will you agree with me that, MOST of the time, a design that is great looking also converts great? (on first impressions, of course)

Why do you think many people are reverting back to 96/97 style longass tours that are nothing more than glorified tables?

They were simple, and they converted.

Enter 10,000 clones, and and it was time for a change.

Enter nonscrolling mostly graphical tours.

They were eye candy, and they converted.

Enter 100,000 clones, and it was time for a change.

That is now.. and now, since people are basically out of viable original ideas, they're cloning the original clones. And there are already more of them than I can stomach... cause, they once again all look the same.
