the shit was disgusting, well anyways

i checked out the return emails and a few jumped up on me

Yeah, I am getting them as well. Not hammered, but a good 20 to 30 a day. Irritating to say the least.

Yea I'm getting that shit too. Fucking disgusting. I doubt they'll take down Microsoft or Verotel though. It would be a better tactic against a porn site or a smaller mainstream site, but useless against the likes of Microslop.

Same thing here. I did dns look up on a few of the ips they ever so spamfully provided and they all originated at verio, and a few had very real looking US contacts.

I'm gettting a pile of them too, about 5 every hour from the same thing, verotle and ms. Sent the info to asacp.

Stop opening the mail. They include an invisible image that verifies your address to send you more.

Besides automatically opening emails that have some sort of hidden image to verify your email address is active, having the preview window open will allow malicious viruses to infect your system without you even realising it.

No, just the mail headers. we dont really need the body of the message.

Mailwasher doesn't download images, so you don't have to worry about hidden images embedded in emails.

Microsoft is always under attack... I don't think that cp spammers will take them out. :(
