NYC hotel needed
 

Can anyone recommend a decent hotel that has weekly rates in the NYC area that has free high-speed internet?

Free high speed internet in a hotel? There's only one hotel that offers that The Gramercy Park Hotel. It's only $10 a day in most others and you can definitely save more than $10 a day staying elsewhere.

if you have money go with the waldorf astoria
if you have some money go check it at the New York Helmsley (like that one)
i can also recommend the pensilvania or however the shit is called... right at the madison square

The Helmsley Palace is nice, but only if you are into extremely regal looking rooms with antiques, gold plated fixtures, etc.

The Plaza is a nice one also.

there are 2 in new york if i remember right...
the one i stayed in several times was at the 3rd ave... could be wrong ;)
4 stars... nice rooms... about 140 bucks for king size bedroom ;)

I just looked at a few from my travel site and the Helmsley Park Lane which is a top hotel is having a special for $199 / night.
